The room displays a gorgeous polychrome mosaic found in 1966 in an ancient Roman villa near Madonna del Piano di Montesecco. The Soprintendenza started to take care of the mosaic flooring in 1969; the " Mosaicisti Group " of Ravenna carried out the separation of the mosaic in 1970 and ended the works of consolidation and restoration in 1974.
